Chocolate Noodle Cookies

    I learnt this receipe from a television show. (Could not remember which one) I tried it once and it was rather nice.

    Serves: 2 

    • 1 large egg
    • 10 to 20 grams sugar
    • 20 grams cocoa powder
    • 1 packet instant noodles

    1. Preheat oven for 10 minutes at 180 degree celsius.
    2. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white. Retain the egg white.
    3. Mix the egg white and the sugar in a bowl and beat the mixture until it becomes white.
    4. Transfer the mixture into a small pot and heat at 40 degress Celsius. After that, add the cocoa powder and stir well.
    5. When the mixture is ready, transfer it into another bowl.
    6. Crush the noodles into small pieces and add the crush noodles into the mixture.
    7. Remove the noodles from the mixture. Place on a baking pan. Remember: the baking pan has to be oiled. Also, place a piece of baking sheet on the pan before putting the crushed noodles.
    8. Bake the noodles for about 10 minutes at 160 degree celsius.
    9. Let the cookies cool for about 5 minutes before serving.


    Just a note here: these cookies are supposed to be dry. If you want to add a small amount of water to make it moist it is up to you. To add on, you can alter the amount of ingredients to make the pastry for as many people you want.
