A quick and delicious dish made with pork and Chinese greens, which are tossed in peanut satay sauce and oyster sauce. Perfect served with freshly cooked rice. You can use any meat of you preference in this dish.

1/2 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 tablespoon light soy sauce or 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
1-2 tablespoons cornflour, mixed with 1 tablespoon water
450g pork, cut into strips
1 tablespoon oil, divided
1 tablespoon chopped garlic, divided
600g kai lan (Chinese kale or broccoli), cut into 3cm pieces
Make the marinade by mixing together the sugar, salt, soy sauce and cornflour slurry. Mix in the pork, let marinate for 15 minutes.
Heat a frying pan over high-heat, add half of the oil, then add half of the garlic Stir-fry until aromatic, about 1-2 minutes. Add the pork and stir-fry until cooked through, about 4-6 minutes. Set aside.
Heat the remaining oil in the frying pan, add the remaining garlic and stir fry until aromatic. Add the kai lan and stir. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 250 ml water and cook for 2-4 minutes or until the kai lan is tender.
Drain the water from the pan, add the cooked pork and satay and oyster sauces. Mix well and serve.
