About this recipe:A deliciously simple pork recipe that's similar to what you can get in the restaurant. Pork is pan-fried until crisp, then stir-fried with chillies, onions, capsicum and seasonings. A wonderful dish to share and serve with freshly cooked rice.
450g boneless pork chops, pounded evenly and cut into large pieces
In a small bowl, mix together the five spice, garlic granules, salt and white pepper. Use to season the pork. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Coat the pork pieces in egg, then dip into cornflour. Set on a plate and chill for 10 minutes.
Heat a large frying pan with 125ml oil over high heat. Pan-fry the pork until they are crisp, 2-3 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium and continue to cook until done, 2-3 minutes. Set aside, leaving 2 teaspoons oil in the pan.
Heat the pan over high heat and stir-fry the chillies and garlic until fragrant, 2-3 minutes. Stir in the onion and salt, cook until soft, 2-3 minutes. Add the green capsicum and pepper, stir until the mixture is dry. Add the pork, seasoned salt and mix well. Serve.
