Daging Masak Kuah Sayur (Beef with Vegetables)

    Serves: 6 

    • 350 g beef, sliced
    • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
    • 1 carrots, cut into sticks
    • 1 small eggplant, cut into chunks
    • 1/2 head cauliflower, cut into florets
    • 1 tomato, cut into wedges
    • 1 green chilli, sliced
    • 1 large onion, slice into rings
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
    • 1 teaspoon vinegar
    • 2 teaspoon ketchup
    • 1 cup water
    • salt to taste
    • white pepper to taste
    • oil for cooking

    1. Heat oil in pot and stir-fry the beef. Halfway through add the garlic cloves and stir. Then add carrots, stir for a few minutes followed by eggplant and cauliflower.
    2. Add in the seasonings: soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar and ketchup. Mix well and then pour in the water.
    3. Add the tomatoes, chilli and onions. Stir, add salt and pepper and simmer for 5 minutes. Add more water if needed and check seasoning. Serve with rice.
