- 3 red chillies
- 5 shallots
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 small tomato, cut into small chunks
- salt to taste
- juice of half lime
- 2 teaspoon oil

- Pound the chillies, shallots, garlic and tomato in a mortar and pestle until fine.
- Heat a little oil in pan and saute and stir the pounded ingredients until fragrant. Remove from heat and season with salt and lime juice.
