About this recipe: Chocolate cupcakes with a surprise crunch in the middle.


Serves: 12 

  • 125g butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup (125g) caster sugar
  • 3/4 cup (90g) self-raising flour
  • 1/4 cup (30g) cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 6 oreos chopped/crumbled

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C (170 convection oven). Line a muffin tin with patty case.
  2. Put all of the ingredients except for the milk and oreos in a food processor and process until smooth.
  3. Add the milk and process until it is runny. Stir in the oreos
  4. Spoon into the patty cases.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool then decorate.
