Gluten-Free Sage and Onion Stuffing

About this recipe: Turkey or chicken without stuffing? I don't think so. This gives a great gluten-free sage and onion stuffing, tastes just like the ones grandma used to make.


Serves: 4 

  • 1 1/2 large onions, diced
  • 2 gluten-free rolls
  • 2 tablespoons sage
  • 1 small egg, whisked
  • 10g margarine
  • 1 pinch salt and black pepper, to taste

Prep:15min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. Microwave the onion on high power for 6 minutes at 2 minute intervals. Then liquidise onion.
  2. Crush rolls into breadcrumbs and slowly add to onion mixture. Add sage and mix in.
  3. Add whisked egg and margarine to mixture and stir thoroughly. Add seasoning to flavour.
  4. Put into shallow grease proof dish until 5cm thick. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C and put on top shelf for 20 minutes until golden.
