    About this recipe: A quick and easy fudge flavoured with chopped pecans, grated orange peel and orange liqueur, made in the microwave.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 36 pieces

    • 1 1/3 cups (295g) white sugar
    • 1 (185ml) tin evaporated milk
    • 125g butter, melted
    • 2 1/2 cups chopped marshmallows
    • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
    • 1 cup (115g) finely chopped pecans
    • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
    • 2 tablespoons (40ml) orange liqueur

    Directions
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:11min  ›  Extra time:2hr setting  ›  Ready in:2hr16min 

    1. In a 1L microwave safe dish combine sugar, evaporated milk and butter. Microwave on high for 8 minutes.
    2. Stir and add marshmallows and chocolate chips; heat on high for 3 minutes, or until melted.
    3. Stir in chopped pecans, orange peel and liqueur. Chill for 2 hours, or until firm, and cut into squares.

    For an easier way to get the same flavor just use the jar of marshmallow cream and pure orange extract. use 1 teaspoon in place of the liquor and the zest. It also makes this recipe cheaper. This works well without the nuts too. Either way.  -  18 Dec 2001  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

    Amazing! I also used the marshmallow cream and orange extract. It worked out great. also replaced the orange with vanilla, the chocolate chips with white chocolate and the nuts with crushed oreos to make cookies and cream fudge  -  23 Sep 2009  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
