    About this recipe: Want to make pizza dough, but don't have time to let it rise? This is a quick and easy thin base. Just combine wholemeal flour, yeast, wheatgerm, salt and honey, bake, then add your favourite pizza toppings.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 2 

    • 2 1/2 teaspoons dried active baking yeast
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 1 cup warm water
    • 250g wholemeal flour
    • 4 tablespoons wheatgerm
    • 1 teaspoon salt

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and honey in warm water and let stand until foamy, about 10 minutes.
    3. In a large bowl combine flour, wheatgerm and salt. Make a well in the centre and add yeast and honey mixture. Stir well to combine. Cover and set in a warm place to rise for a few minutes.
    4. Roll dough out to desired shape on a floured baking tray and poke a few holes in it with a fork to help it crisp.
    5. Bake for 5 to 10 minutes, or until desired crispiness is achieved. Top with your favourite pizza toppings and bake until cheese has browned.
