i found this recipe at the last minute just to add another side to a family birthday dinner, and it turned out to be my favorite thing there! i used 2 cans french cut green beans and 1 can of WalMart brand Italian seasoned stewed tomatoes, then added just a small amount of Mrs.Dash Tomato/Basil/Garlic seasoning. it was so simple! i will definitely keep these items on hand so i can make more on an everyday basis.  -  17 Apr 2006  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

Tomatoes and green beans have always tasted great together. I had never thought of adding almonds. It added a crisp to it, and tasted great. A little jalapeno gives it a little kick, kind of like spanish almond green beans.  -  07 Sep 2005  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

These are good. I used frozen green beans because I don't care for canned. Had to add a little salt to them. A nice change for green beans, thanks!  -  23 Aug 2008  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
