    About this recipe: This is a delicious dessert, thicker than a mousse. Very velvety. Best served in small bowls - tea cups are ideal. You could also add brandy or rum for an extra-special difference.

    Serves: 4 

    • 220g good quality dark chocolate
    • 150ml thickened cream
    • 100ml full fat milk
    • 1/2 tsp of vanilla essence
    • 1/4 tsp of ground allspice
    • 1 egg

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Extra time:6hr chilling  ›  Ready in:6hr15min 

    1. Put chocolate into a food processor & process until finely chopped.
    2. Heat the milk & cream together until nearly boiling, mix in the vanilla & allspice. Pour into processor,process for 30 seconds, add egg & process for 45 seconds.
    3. Pour the mixture into tea-cups and chill for 6 hours (or overnight) in a fridge.
