About this recipe: This salty chicken is a favorite dish in my home. My grandma always make this as an accompany of porridge (rice soup). It's very delicious and easy to make.

Serves: 2 

  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Shitake Mushroom (soak in water and drain)
  • 1 1/5 lbs Chicken Legs
  • 2 tbsp Worchestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
  • Salt
  • White pepper
  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp Ground Ginger (optional)
  • 1 cup water

Prep:5min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Extra time:25min  ›  Ready in:50min 

  1. Sautee garlic until almost golden brown, Add shitake Mushroom, and Chicken legs. Add all the other ingredients, leaving out water as the last ingredient. Stir until the chicken is almost fully cook.
  2. Add the water as the last step and cover your pot and wait until chicken is fully cooked. Serve with thick rice Porridge.
