Stir-fry Ginger Beef

    A quick easy stir-fry to have with your rice or use it in noodle dishes too.

    Serves: 4 

    • 300 gm beef, sliced
    • 1 tsp cornflour
    • 3.5 cm ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 tbsp chinese thick caramel sauce
    • 2 tsp soy sauce
    • 1 tsp chilli sauce
    • 3 spring onions, ends removed and cut into half
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • oil for cooking

    1. Marinate the sliced beef with salt, pepper and cornflour.
    2. Heat the oil and fry the ginger slices until fragrant. Remove the ginger. Add the garlic and stir-fry.
    3. Then add the beef and the sauces and stir-fry until well combined. Season and lastly add the spring onions and cook until it is slightly wilted and beef is cooked.
