    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish and set aside.
    2. Form ground beef into 20 meatballs. Brown them on all sides in a large skillet over medium heat, about 15 minutes.
    3. Whisk together the ketchup, cornstarch, water, sugar, vinegar, dry mustard, salt, and soy sauce in a bowl until the sugar is dissolved and the cornstarch is smooth.
    4. Place the browned meatballs in the prepared baking dish, and pour the sauce over them. Bake 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until the sauce is thickened and the meatballs are cooked through.

Good, but the sugar needs to be reduced to 3 tablespoons, and I prefer brown to white.  -  28 Feb 2009  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

These were very good. Exactly what I expected. Sweet and tangy. I will make them again and expirament a bit by using brown sugar instead of white. I did bake them quite a bit longer because I wanted the sauce to get extra thick. Next time I will either use a little more corn starch or a little less water to get the sauce to more of a glaze consistency quicker. My 15mo old loved them as well. I used another meatball recipe from this website so that the meatballs weren't just plain hamburger...  -  22 Apr 2009  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

VERY sweet...I used half the sugar required and it was still a bit too much sweetness. But, a very easy-to-make recipe and an interesting variation to the usual sweet/sour or regular meatball.  -  04 Feb 2009  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
