1 (15 ounce) can asparagus tips, drained
224 g cream cheese, softened
50 g finely chopped almonds
45 ml mayonnaise
1 teaspoon finely minced onion

Mash asparagus in bowl; pour off any remaining liquid. Mix in the cream cheese, almonds, mayonnaise, and onion until thoroughly blended. Cover, and refrigerate until serving.
Use low fat mayonnaise and Neufchatel cream cheese to reduce fat and calories. Splurge on more expensive brands of canned asparagus to get more tips and fewer stems.
