    About this recipe: I got this recipe off my mom, who got it off my Aunty Dot, who got it off someone in church! It is very simple to prepare, and it is perfect on a pound cake. Ingredients may be altered according to one's taste.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 2 pound cakes/one 9x13 inch cake

    • 8oz Cream Cheese, softened
    • 1/2 cup salted butter, softened
    • 1 cup icing sugar
    • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

    Directions
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:3min  ›  Ready in:8min 

    1. In a medium bowl, beat all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
    2. Chill if liked, and (important) make sure cake is completely cooled before frosting, or the frosting might turn runny.

    Tip

    Add chopped nuts if liked.
