    About this recipe: Italian sausage is browned with broccoli and onion, then simmered with tomatoes for a quick, satisfying meal. Serve with pasta or crusty bread.

    Serves: 6 

    • 750g Italian style sausages
    • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
    • 1/2 onion, chopped
    • 1, 400g can whole peeled tomatoes

    1. In a large frying pan over medium heat, brown the sausages until the inside is no longer pink. Cut sausages into slices, and continue cooking until browned.
    2. Stir in the broccoli and onion; cook and stir for 2 minutes. Pour in the tomatoes. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
