Thaw the frozen baby cooked prawns. Put the prawns in a mixing bowl with the shredded imitation crab meat. Add the remaining ingredients into the bowl and mix well.
Heat a frying pan with a few drops of oil on medium heat. Place a tablespoon of mixture on the frying pan to make a small patty. You can pan fry about 5-6 pieces at once, cook for 2 minutes and flip over cook another 2 minutes.
Mix the dipping sauce ingredients together. Serve with the prawn cakes.
