Prik glua (salt chilli sugar dip)

    Use this to dip and coat your sour mango, pickled mango, pineapple, guava or even cherry tomatoes. This dip is an omnipresent street snack, but quality varies widely. Why not make your own?

    Ingredients
    Serves: 5 

    • 2 tablespoons course sea salt
    • 2 tablespoons caster sugar
    • 2 teaspoons prik bun (Thai dried/roasted chilli flakes)
    • 500 g guava, sour mango, apple, pickles or whatever you want to spice up

    1. Mix all three ingredients together. Place in a small bowl. Use to dip your favorite firm fruits or pickles.
