    About this recipe: This is a fast and easy way to use beef. Stir fry beef with some simple ingredients and serve with rice.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 500g (16oz) Beef sirloin thinly sliced
    • 3 Oyster mushrooms or Pine mushrooms (slice ½ inch thick)
    • 2 Green onions (chopped)
    • 1 yellow onion (sliced)
    • 1/4 cup (60ml) pineapple Juice
    • 4 tablespoons (60ml) soya sauce
    • 4 tablespoons caster sugar
    • 3 teaspoons crushed garlic
    • ½ teaspoon sesame seeds
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

    1. Cut the beef in a bite sizes put in a mixing bowl and pour the pineapple juice over the beef.
    2. Combine soya sauce, 3 tablespoons sugar, garlic, black pepper and sesame seeds in a small bowl; mix well.
    3. Pour the soya sauce mixture over beef and marinated at least 3 hours.
    4. Pre heat pan on high heat and sauté the marinated beef until it is half way cooked. Add the onion, mushrooms, salt and remaining 1 tablespoon sugar. Cook the beef for about 5 minutes. Place the beef on a plate and sprinkle chopped green onions on top.
