Heat ghee in pot and fry the spices until fragrant. Add in the water and bring to boil. When boiling, stir in the tomato paste, evaporated milk, a pinch of salt and add in rice. Lower heat and cook rice until done.
Garnish with fried shallots and chopped spring onions.
i had a very long and tiring day before i tried this recipe. The cooking process was so exciting! The aroma from the spices was just heavenly!
