About this recipe: Grated potato and prawns come together as a delicious snack.

  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled and grated
  • 1/2 kg small prawns
  • 225g bean sprouts
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced thin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons corn flour
  • Cooking oil for frying
  • Vinegar dipping sauce ingredients
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Mix grated potatoes with the prawns, bean sprouts, onion, garlic and corn flour. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Heat the oil in a non stick frying pan. Place some of the mixture on a saucer and slide it into the hot oil. Brown both sides. When done, place on paper to remove excess oil.
  3. Serve hot with vinegar dipping sauce made by mixing all the ingredients together.
