About this recipe:
Essentially a banana spring roll, great as a snack or dessert.
2 plaintains or other large cooking bananas
550g seedless jackfruit, cut into thin slices
12 lumpia wrappers
Cooking oil as needed for frying
- Cut the bananas in half, then slice each half lengthwise into 4 pieces.
- Roll two pieces of banana in sugar. Insert pieces of jackfruit in between and wrap in a lumpia wrapper. Continue wrapping the rest of the banana with jackfruit.
- In a large frying pan, heat the oil and and brown both sides of the turrones. Serve hot.
