About this recipe: This is a great, healthy combination of meat, seafood, and vegetables in a savory tomato base.

Serves: 4 

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 200g pork, diced
  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 200g prawns, deveined
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 450g string beans, cut into 6cm lengths
  • 450g squash, cut into 2cm cubes

  1. In a large frying pan, saute the onion and garlic in olive oil until the onion is translucent.
  2. Add the pork, mix well, and add the fish sauce. When the pork is cooked, add the prawns and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the tomatoes, mix , and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the string beans and squash. Mix well, cover and cook for another 10 minutes. Serve hot with rice.
