    About this recipe: This gives a very well defined squid flavor. Use fresh smaller size squid.

    Serves: 5 

    • 1 kg fresh squid
    • 1/2 cup white vinegar
    • 1/2 cup water
    • 1 small onion
    • 2 cloves garlic
    • 1 medium tomato
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 1 tbsp soya sauce
    • salt and pepper to taste

    1. Clean squid by removing the clear membrane inside.
    2. Place squid in a small pot with the vinegar and water, salt and pepper and cook for 10 minutes.
    3. In a saucepan, saute onion and garlic. Add tomato and the squid mixture.
    4. Simmer for 20 minutes.
