This is a brilliant, low-cost recipe, No eggs, sugar, milk, or butter. You can even use diabetic chocolate. A nice moist cake, it will keep for approx 3-4 weeks and is delicious with your favorite icing.
Do you melt chocolate of put in in chunks to melt in cake mixture? - 23 Jul 2015 (Review from Allrecipes UK | Ireland)
Well I have got to be honest I didn't think it would work but was I wrong. It is the juiciest fruit cake that I have tasted. I will be making one for Christmas with a few adjustments to the ingredients, I will mix a good slug of brandy with the coffee and replace some of the fruit with cherries and maybe some ginger oh yes and just use whole nut chocolate xx - 14 Nov 2014 (Review from Allrecipes UK | Ireland)
