One dish apple crumble

    1 hour 10 mins

This apple crumble recipe really lets the apples shine. The topping is crunchy and light, thanks to the baking powder and bicarb. Extra advantage - it's all cooked together in one dish.

Made it healthier. used brown sugar and reduced the amounts used in the crumbly mixture over the apple mixture, as well as the amount used sprinkled over apples. less sweet since serving with ice-cream. lovely recipe. I've also added chopped dried apricots for personal preference. just sprinkle over apple mixture before covering with crumbly mixture.  -  13 Jun 2010  (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)

This apple crumble was simple and delicious. The brown sugar gave it a beautiful caramel flavour and was really sweet. The whole family loved it.  -  27 May 2012  (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)

Used different ingredients. I used Sundowner apples. Had 10 kg in which I had to put a dent.  -  09 Aug 2010  (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)
