Rum Balls (Very Yummy)

    The best tasting Rum Balls around with no fuss and no-bake recipe.

    Serves: 10 

    • 1 packet Morning Coffee biscuits, crushed
    • 1 tin (388g) condensed milk
    • 1 cup sultanas or chopped raisins, firmly packed
    • 1/2 cup (125ml) rum
    • 2 heaped tablespoons cocoa
    • desiccated coconut, for rolling

    Prep:10min  ›  Extra time:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Stand sultanas in rum overnight.
    2. Mix all ingredients together well and refrigerate a couple of hours. Roll teaspoonfuls in coconut.
    3. Keep in refrigerator.

    The flavour of these is excellent (if you like a strong rum flavour). I only put half the sultanas and added another half packet of biscuits because the mixture was quite soft. After putting it all in the food processor, then putting it in the fridge for an hour they rolled up really well. Made about 50.  -  25 Dec 2014  (Review from Allrecipes AU | NZ)
