About this recipe: All in one bowl quiche that forms it's own base while cooking. Passed on to me by my mother, this is adaptable to use any leftovers. You can pretty much add what you like to this recipe. The quiche can be cut up into squares of any size and served with salad, or cut into finger or bite size pieces for parties. Baking in a mini muffin tins is good for parties. Serve hot or cold


Serves: 6 

  • 4 eggs
  • 125g grated cheese
  • 125g chopped bacon
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • ½ cup ((60g) self raising flour
  • 1½ cups (375ml) milk
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Prep:15min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Ready in:45min 

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Grease a 20cm quiche dish, casserole dish or cake tin well. Fry bacon and onion together until the onion is golden. In a large bowl, mix all the rest of the ingredients together until well blended.
  2. Pour into the prepared dish and bake until set, about 30 mins.
