Serves: 6 

  • 1kg baking potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt

  1. Cook the potatoes and garlic in a saucepan of boiling water for 10 minutes or until tender.
  2. Drain and mash with the buttermilk, cheese, paprika and salt to taste. Serve immediately.
