Seasoned beef with peppers

    A savoury beef dish with peppers served over a bed of rice.

    • Stew beef cut into 1 1/2 in. pieces. About 1.5 lb.
    • Bell peppers green and or red cut into triangles. 2 peppers
    • Cooking onion. 1 large quartered.
    • Soy sauce of your choice. About 1/3 cup
    • Garlic. About 4 cloves crushed.


    1. Saute the beef in some oil until browned
    2. Simmer, covered for about an hour or until almost tender adding soy sauce and some water along the way
    3. Add the onions and garlic and cook a further 10 min.
    4. Add the peppers, stir and cook for 5 min.
    5. Cover for 5 min. and serve over rice.
