Century egg porridge

    This is a dish that we usually have at dim sum restaurants but we decided we like it so much that we would recreate it!

    • 800ml water
    • 1/3 cup rice
    • 3 dried scallops, washed
    • 1 century egg, sliced
    • 25g minced pork
    • 1 tbsp light soy sauce


    1. Cook the water, rice and scallops for 40 minutes under low heat.
    2. Add in the century egg, minced pork and light soy sauce. Stir to mix well. Allow it to sit for another 15-20 minutes. Serve.
