Kimchi fried rice

    Korean food has become a lot more popular in Singapore recently. We like it too! It's been really easy to cook Korean food since NTUC stocks Korean groceries!

    • 400g kimchi
    • ½ big onion, chopped
    • 1 tsp garlic, minced
    • 1 tsp butter
    • 4 pieces ham, cubed
    • 1 chicken breast, boneless, cubed
    • 3 cups rice, cooked
    • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
    • 5 eggs


    1. Fry the kimchi, onions and garlic until fragrant under medium heat. Add in butter and allow it to coat the kimchi and onions.
    2. Add in the ham, chicken and stir-fry until the chicken turns white. (about 5 minutes)
    3. Add the rice and stir well to mix with the rest of the ingredients. Add light soy sauce.
    4. Fry 5 sunny-side-ups and serve with the kimchi fried rice.
