Yong tau foo and fishball soup

    This is a very simple soup that is sweetened with soy beans. If you don't have time, ignore the soy beans and it'll be a simple 10 minute soup!

    • 2.5 L water
    • 2 handfuls soy beans
    • 50g pork slices
    • 5 pieces yong tau foo
    • 10 pieces fishball
    • 1 tomato, quartered
    • A pinch of salt
    • 1 packet golden mushrooms


    1. Boil the soy beans in water for about 1 hour. Remove the soy beans.
    2. Add in the pork slices, yong tau foo, fishball, tomato and salt and cook for another 10 minutes.
    3. Before serving, add the golden mushrooms. Serve.
