About this recipe:
We tried to pan-fry brinjal as well as deep-fry brinjal. We all thought that it tasted better deep-fried.
1 egg, beaten
Salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
1 bringal, cut horizontally in half
Fried shallots for garnish
1 tomato, sliced
- Mix egg and salt.
- Heat a pan and oil it with 2 tbsp of oil.
- Dip the brinjal into the egg mixture. Place it on the pan cut side facing down and fry it until the egg mixture is set. Use a spatula to prevent it from sticking.
- Flip it over and fry on the other side. Fry until the brinjal is soft and the cut side is browned. Serve with shallots as garnish and with sliced tomatoes.
