    About this recipe: We bought brinjals again! The last time we pan-fried it but this time we decided it would taste better deep-fried. Quite right too!

    Ingredients

    • 1 egg, beaten
    • A pinch of salt
    • 1 bringal, cut horizontally in half
    • Fried shallots for garnish

    Directions

    1. Mix egg and salt. Dip the brinjal into the egg mixture.
    2. Deep-fry until the brinjal is golden brown. Serve with shallots as garnish.
