    About this recipe: This is a dish that everyone must have seen a thousand renditions of! This is my take on it!


    • 1 piece tau gwa, sliced
    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 25g salted vegetables, cut into strips
    • 1 stalk spring onion, cut
    • 300g beansprouts
    • 1 tomato, quartered
    • ¼ cup water
    • A pinch of salt
    • 1 tbsp light soy sauce


    1. Pan-fry the tau gwa slices until it is golden brown.
    2. Fry the garlic under medium heat until fragrant. Add salted vegetables and spring onions and fry until fragrant.
    3. Add the beansprouts and tomato and stir-fry for about 1 minute. Add water, salt and light soy sauce and put back the fried tau gwa slices. Stir to combine. Serve.
