Pan-fried fish in sauce

We eat fish all the time. This time instead of plain steaming the fish or deep-frying it, we chose to pan-fry it and then cook in sauce.

    1 person made this

    • 1 inch ginger, sliced
    • 1 clove garlic, sliced
    • 1 whole fish, about 500g
    • A few slices salted vegetables
    • 1 chili, sliced
    • 1 tomato, quartered
    • Small amount of spring onion

    1. Fry the ginger and garlic until fragrant. Add in the fish and just enough water to cover the fish.
    2. Add salted vegetables, chili, tomato and spring onion. Cover the pan until the fish is cooked on both sides. Test by poking the fish – if it is white, it is done.
    3. Add salt and light sauce. Serve.
