Olive greens and prawns stir-fry

    Olive greens are also known as kana cai. They can be slightly bitter.

    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 350g olive greens, cut
    • 3 mushrooms, cut into halves
    • 5 prawns, shelled 1/4 carrot, sliced
    • 50ml water


    1. In a hot oiled pan, fry the garlic until it starts to brown.
    2. Add in the olive greens, mushrooms and carrot and fry for 1-2 minutes.
    3. Cover with a lid to allow it to cook. Add some water if needed to prevent the vegetables from sticking.
    4. Add in the prawns and stir-fry until it turns pink. Serve.
