Beancurd and prawns stir-fry

About this recipe: This is a simple dish to cook. To save time, you don't even have to fry the beancurd yourself; just buy ready made ones from hawker centers.


  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 leeks, cut into small pieces
  • 50ml water
  • 10 prawns, shelled
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce
  • 2 pieces deep-fried beancurd, sliced


  1. Fry the garlic until it starts to brown. Add in the leeks and water. Cover the pan with a lid until the leeks have softened.
  2. Add in the prawns and stir-fry again. Add in salt, light soy sauce and cover again. Allow the water to boil.
  3. Add in the beancurd and stir to combine. Serve.
