    About this recipe: This is a fairly simple vegetable stir-fry recipe. No extra water needs to be added as the spinach will shrink and produce water.

    • 300g spinach
    • 150g fish slices
    • 1 tbsp garlic, chopped
    • A small handful of ikan bilis
    • Salt to taste


    1. In a hot oiled pan, fry the garlic until it starts to brown. Add in the ikan bilis and fry until fragrant.
    2. Add in the spinach and salt and stir-fry until the spinach softens. Cover the pan with a lid to help it to cook. Add some water if it is too dry.
    3. Remove the spinach but leave the water in the pan. Add in the fish slices and cover the pan.
    4. Allow it to cook until the water boils and the fish slices are completely white. Turn off the heat and pour over the spinach. Serve.
