Rice cooker yong tau foo

    Instead of buying yong tau foo at the wet market, use this simple recipe to make your own homemade yong tau foo!

    • 200g minced dace fillet
    • 100g minced pork
    • Light soy sauce to taste
    • 3 mushrooms, soaked until soft
    • ½ Tomato, quartered
    • 1 slice bittergourd, seeds removed
    • 1 ladyfinger, slit horizontally


    1. Mix together the minced dace fillet and the minced pork. Add light soy sauce to taste and combine.
    2. Scoop a portion of the fish and pork mixture and scoop onto the vegetables.
    3. Place on top of the rice in the rice cooker, when you see bubbles coming from below the rice. Allow it to cook with the rice. Remove when serving for dinner.
