    About this recipe: This is a great soup recipe! The addition of sweet and bitter almonds is supposed to be good for the throat.

    Ingredients

    • 1 L water
    • 300g pork ribs
    • 2 tbsp sweet and bitter almonds (南杏、北杏)
    • 2 dried scallops, soaked until soft
    • 2 honey dates (蜜枣)
    • 500g watercress
    • Salt to taste

    Directions

    1. Boil together all the ingredients for about 2-3 hours on a stove under low heat or in a thermal pot for 5-10 minutes.
    2. Heat again on the stove just before serving.
