Chye sim and taoki stir-fry

About this recipe: We made this for dinner the other day and it tasted great!

  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 8-12 dried shrimps
  • 25g taoki (beancurd skin), soaked until soft, cut
  • 3 dried mushrooms, soaked until soft, sliced
  • 250g chye sim
  • A pinch of salt
  • ½ tbsp cornflour mixed in 100ml water


  1. In a hot oiled pan, fry the garlic until fragrant. Add the dried shrimps and stir-fry again.
  2. Add the taoki, mushrooms, chye sim and salt. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the cornflour mixture and mix. Stir-fry until the sauce thickens. Serve.
