    About this recipe: This is a dish that will definitely be popular with kids at home! The breaded pork chops are coated with some tomato sauce to add tangy-ness.

    • 300g pork loin, thin slices
    • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1 tbsp XO whisky
    • A dash of pepper
    • 1 egg white
    • ½ cup breadcrumbs
    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 1 small onion, sliced
    • 1 chili, sliced
    • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
    • ½ tbsp cornflour
    • ¼ cup water
    • Juice from 1 lime
    • Cilantro as garnish


    1. Season the pork loin slices in light soy sauce, sesame oil, XO whisky and pepper for about 3 hours.
    2. Dip the pork loin slices in egg white and then roll in breadcrumbs. Deep-fry until golden brown on both sides. Blot dry with kitchen towels and cut into small strips.
    3. Oil a pan and fry the onion under medium heat until fragrant. Add chili, tomato sauce, cornflour, water and lime juice. Mix well and allow it to boil.
    4. Remove from heat. Add cilantro and stir in.
    5. Pour the tomato sauce over the pork strips. Serve.
