    About this recipe: We saw these yong tau foo for sale at the wet market the other day and decided to buy some to try. Perfect for kids!

    Ingredients

    • 2 L water
    • 1 handful soy beans
    • 1 handful ikan bilis
    • 5 pieces Angry Bird shaped yong tau foo
    • 10 pieces mushroom and vegetable balls
    • 1 tomato, quartered
    • A pinch of salt
    • Fried shallots as garnish

    Directions

    1. Boil the soy beans and ikan bilis in water for about 1 hour. Remove the soy beans and ikan bilis.
    2. Add in the yong tau foo, mushroom and vegetable balls, tomato and salt and cook for another 10 minutes.
    3. Garnish with fried shallots. Serve.
