Boneless chicken in dark sauce

This is a new recipe that we just tried out given to us by a friend. Not bad! We'll probably lessen the amount of seasoning though.

    New York, United States
    1 person made this

    • 275g boneless chicken meat, cut into bite-sized pieces
    • 1 tsp light soy sauce
    • 1 tsp sesame oil
    • ½ tsp sugar
    • A dash of pepper
    • 5 slices ginger
    • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 4 shallots, sliced
    • 50ml water

    1. Marinate the chicken pieces in light soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar and pepper for about 2 hours.
    2. In a hot oiled pan, add ginger and fry under medium heat until they turn brown.
    3. Add the garlic and shallots and fry until fragrant.
    4. Add the chicken pieces and dark sauce. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes. Add water and mix well. Serve.
