Golden Mushroom Tempura

    We like Japanese food a lot and tempura dishes is one of our favorites! This dish from restaurants is easy to recreate.

    • ½ cup tempura flour
    • ½ bowl water or as necessary
    • A pinch of salt
    • 2 packets golden mushrooms, washed and dried
    • Oil for frying


    1. Mix the tempura flour in just enough water to form a sticky but smooth batter. Add a pinch of salt and stir well.
    2. Break the golden mushrooms into about 30 smaller pieces and dip into the tempura flour.
    3. Deep-fry in oil until golden. Remove from oil and blot dry with kitchen towels. Serve.
